Simple to make leather necklaces with metal casting pendants

Project

Leather cord necklaces with silver pendants are a classic and popular kind of jewelry, that are very simple to make when you have got the right components to use.


There are many kinds and colors of leather cords to use, but these 2mm brown and black genuine leather cords are the most basic and popular of them all.

 


Here you can see a few simple ways to use leather cords -
1. Hang the pendant on tow cords of leather with large loops
2. Use a crimp end on the edge of the cord and then connect it to the pendant with a jump ring
3. Slide the cord through the loops of the pendant and make a knot. Then use a small jump ring to hold the edge of the cord so it won’t move.
4. When you use two leather cords, slide jump rings to hold both cords, but the hang the pendant just on the lower cord

 

 

So, pick a few metal pendants, same leather cords and start creating beautiful new necklaces!
