step 1: preparing your materials

Prepare your work environment. Organizing your tools and materials will help

you work faster and more efficient.

 

Cut 4 pieces of the black leather cord, 48cm each.

gold chain – 47cm

Flat Black with Gold Gourmet Chain – 46cm

black chain - 45cm

  

 

Step 2 : connecting the leather cords

 

Take one piece of leather cord and slip the brass tubes with stone settings on it.

 
 

To close the necklace all end of the leather needs to be held by the metal end for 2mm cord.

Just put the metal ends on the leather edge and use the pleir tool to press it until it closes.

 
 

Now, take the other 3 leather cords and close the metal ends on all of them.

  
 

Open one 5mm jump ring with the help of the pleir tools and connect two ends of the leather cord., and another jump ring to connect all four together.

 

  
   

  

 
 

Step 3 : connecting the metal chains

 

Us 6mm jump ring to connect the two black chains and one jump ring for the gold chain.

Use another 6mm jump ring to connect both jump rings.

 

  

  

 
 

Step 4: connecting all chains together

 

Open 8mm jump ring and hang the leather cords and chains togther.

 

  
 

On one side hang the clasp and on the other one connect a big 8mm jump ring.

  

  

 
 

Step 5: setting the stones

 

Place the stone in the center of the stone setting and with the help of the setting tool bend the prongs towards the stone in order to embed it.

Bend the prongs gently to make sure you don't damage the stone or crack the plating in this process.
