Stylish necklace with spiky charms DIY

Project

Components

First, you choose the base which will be the centerpiece of your necklace - it can be a metal chain, a thick leather cord or as you will see in this example, a cup chain necklace which is very easy to work with

because you just need to hang the charms on the samll metal bars between the stone settings.

I love mixing antique silver and antique brass metal plating colors together, they just look great combined like that.

To complete the color palette I used deep blue velvet cord with Montana, Denim blue, and sapphire Swarovski crystals.
A touch of green Olivine right at the center of the necklace adds a bit of warm color.

The whole point of this necklace is to use different kinds and sizes of charms, so here you can see we used meaningful charms, several kinds of spikes, triangle charms and more to get a feeling of a rich mix look.

Here is another centerpiece which you can see in the making.
You can take this inspiration and make wonderful necklaces with this style.
